391st Fighter Squadron

The 391st Fighter Squadron is the newest edition of the 1st AEW. Activated in July of 2023, the Bold Tigers are an ambitious and fast growing squadron of knowledgeable Mudhen pilots eager to prove what the Strike Eagle is capable of.

Missions:

The 391st trains for the following missions:

  • Deep Strike

  • Close Air Support

  • Combat Air Patrol

Training

The 391st FS training program is multiple modules isolating skills necessary to be a Mudhen Pilot, from basic airmanship to weapons employment. New pilots are expected to bring working knowledge of their aircraft and be able to conduct a cold start, taxi, takeoff, and landing.
